PEACE is a website designed to bring Progressive Christians of Color together in an online forum for constructive conversation. The goal is not to "overthrow the system" or make people angry. The goal is to open the lines of communication, as we wish to better understand our world, our faith, and our brethren.
We believe that it's time to take small steps toward progress in ethnic churches. We've decided to start the process by hosting quarterly syncroblogs in which African American writers are invited to weigh in on a variety of topics. Through open and honest discussion, we hope to engage the African American church in mature dialogue about race relations, gender equality, human sexuality, interfaith relations, and other topics.
This website is not affiliated with any denomination or political party. We do not prefer one statement of faith over another, as we wish to engage the whole church in dialogue without the squabbles that often hinder discourse.
